"Telemedicine"the new  trend in meta Covid-19 era

The ability of health systems to engage virtually with patients, assess their needs and direct them towards treatment and care is not new, but it has been slow to gain traction.

COVID-19 appears to have changed that.

The pandemic has led to such profound fears about infection that many patients – most importantly ones with serious health concerns – are staying away from emergency departments and other healthcare locations. Patients are increasingly approaching healthcare as ‘consumers’ and demanding the same fast, easy and affordable care services.

Patients are seeking alternative ways to receive care. The fast adoption and increasing demand lead healthcare providers to look for convenient ways to expand access to care.

With Telemedicine, the clinicians will be able to engage with patients at every major touchpoint of their healthcare journey.

P2PV a HIPAA-Compliant Video Conferencing system

for Telemedicine

P2PV involves the electronic exchange of personal health data protected under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). We take the necessary steps to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and security of electronic protected health information (ePHI).

P2PV standards

All PHI (Protected Health Information) is encrypted at rest and in transit. We use AES-based algorithms ensuring end-to-end encryption and protection of data both at rest and in transit. Also, to protect communication privacy, we use a  telemedicine video conferencing solution  to leverage Secure Real-Time Transport Protocol (SRTP) for safe exchange of all telehealth call data between browsers without interception.

A Business Associate Agreement is provided within minutes of account setup.

All PHI (Protected Health Information) stored in hardened secure cloud to ensure against data breaches.

Assign unique access roles according employee position. (Administrators have full access, while functions and access is limited for other roles.) to prevent unauthorized access, we allow access only to those who have been granted the respective rights and in the scope necessary to fulfill their job functions..

A backbone of any security strategy, strong authentication means verifying that a person or entity is what they claim to be before granting access to ePHI. Pairing passwords — the most common way of establishing authentication — with other factors adds an extra layer of security to your video conferencing software by blocking automated cyberattacks and preventing hackers from gaining access to confidential data.

A detailed activity logs and audit trails have been assigned for all systems using ePHI. By logging key actions, access threads, modifications, and more, these audit logs are instrumental in detecting security violations and unauthorized access to protected data.

Advanced session features

P2PV includes many features and we are constantly adding more. Some of the main ones are:

Advanced Features

APaperwork (mandatory or optional) can be assigned and completed online, with secure and binding digital signature options.

P2PV allows for the transfer of files, for security when sending or receiving sensitive information.

Paperwork (mandatory or optional) can be assigned and completed online, with secure and binding digital signature options.

Collaborators arrive in a custom, virtual "waiting room" prior to the session, where they may fill forms, perform telemetry tests,  or make changes to medical folder.

ATLAS & DURUS Integration

P2PV includes many features and we are constantly adding more. Some of the main ones are:

Single sign-in from ATLAS into P2PV system. Import and review session documents or medical data into patient folder.

P2PV integrates remotely all the telemetry services, supported by medical devices such as examination cameras, spirometers, stethoscopes, vitals monitoring devices, otoscopes, ECGs, and more, into the telemedicine  encounter.

Doctors can have complete overview of any performed diagnostic actions on the patient side, during a session. Remote Session overview is ideal for procedures with limited medical surveillance on patient site and any other case which seeks to limit application errors by the patient.

Accept direct credit / debit card payments, in a safe and easy manner, through secure third-party merchants.

Get access to patient electronic folder during a session, review Family / Medical History, write reports / prescriptions, review imaging and lab exams, interact with other Collaborators and many more.

Perfect for long-term care facilities, public spaces, and correctional facilities, our hardened, tamper-proof integration (ATLAS, DURUS, P2PV) can be securely bolted to a fixed platform, and facilitate innovative telemedicine  sessions.

Authorization Tools

One-time password (OTP) systems provide a mechanism for logging on to a network
or service using a unique password that can only be used once.
